Two more people are now in custody related to a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport where 21 people were injured by a substance believed to be an irritant spray, as stated by law enforcement.

A man, 24, was taken into custody in Lambeth for suspected theft and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals are still being held, authorities confirmed.

These detentions follow an investigation into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Prior to the incident, two women were robbed of their luggage after getting out of a parking garage elevator.

A three-year-old girl was among the those hurt during the incident. A total of five individuals were taken to the hospital for medical care and were later discharged.

Police arrested a 31-year-old man on suspicion of theft and assault close to the scene. He was subsequently released under investigation while inquiries continue.

Authorities were alerted at about 8:10 in the morning GMT after reports came in regarding a number of people injured by an irritating chemical believed to be pepper spray.

The assault - an event that authorities stated was isolated and not considered terrorism - caused train delays and the partial closure of the main airport tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park for a short time.
